I would like to decorate my sons bedroom in a 50’s old car type of theme. OR any other COOL ideas would be appreciated. I found some wallies to put on the walls but need some more ideas for unique room!

More wall art ideas: Frame some postcards of classic cars for the walls. Buy some unfinished wood frames at Michael’s and paint them in colors to match. The same could be done for large posters, and you can get inexpensive poster frames, or just use push pins to hold them up.

For God’s sake, you’re decorating your 5 year old son’s room, NOT YOUR ROOM!!!! It’s because you like cars and he shows a little interest in it, doesn’t mean he likes cars. I would try something like Disney or cartoon characters, even Cars, the cartoon character but not old vintage cars. Some examples: Looney Toons, Mickey Mouse, that kinda stuff. My daughter used a projector and projected comic book heroes on her sons walls,she traced them with a black marker and filled them in with craft paints,like the ones sold at hobby stores walmart etc. You need to find a coloring book, automobile magazine or anything you can project onto the walls.Also would be cool to do the window treatments in mini blinds that are a chrome color,put hub cabs on the walls and old liscence plates would be cool too,or road signs to go with the cars.good luck have fun.
