Classic Game Room HD reviews NO MORE HEROES 2: DESPERATE STRUGGLE for Nintendo Wii from Ubisoft. New playable characters include Shinobu! This outrageous game combines a 3D style hack and slash samuri game with awesome 8-bit NES style missions to earn money for new weapons and clothes. You are Travis Touchdown seeking revenge for something or other and must slaughter your way back up to the top of the rankings by killing assassins who have it coming. Giant robots, light sabers and half naked girls fill the screen as No More Heroes 2 explodes with insanity. Pizza health power ups and naughty ladies of the night keep Travis going as he fights numerous end bosses in this over the top battle / action game for the Nintendo Wii. Rated M for blood and gore, intense violence, partial nudity, sexual themes and strong language. Includes a Japanese style SHMUP and dozens of other mini games to keep players challenged and entertained. This CGR review of No More Heroes 2 has gameplay from the Nintendo Wii version of No More Heroes 2 Desperate Struggle on Nintendo Wii from Ubisoft. Playable with the Wii Classic Controller or standard controller and nunchuk. UPC 008888175605 Ultra violence mature hack and slash action game on Nintendo Wii.

Classic Game Room HD reviews the MODEL SCPH-79001 PLAYSTATION 2, the PS2 slim! This slimmer, thinner, lighter, smaller PS2 has everything that you need to play the bulk of Playstation 2 and PSone video games. Two controller ports, two memory card slots, backwards compatibility with PS1 and awesome value for the money. The SCPH 79001 Playstation 2 is just like its older, bigger sibling, the original PS2, but less than half the size. CGR likes the build quality, quiet running and space saving size of the PS2 Slim model SCPH-79001, even though the design of the PS2 Model SCPH-90000 is slightly refined.

Classic Game Room HD reviews REMINGTON GREAT AMERICAN BIRD HUNT for Nintendo Wii. It’s Duck Hunt for the new millenium! Waste flocks of birds with reckless abandon as you send those pompous, feathered, hollow boned monsters to a shallow grave. Shoot ducks, turkeys, quail and other winged wonders with a variety of Remington brand shotguns. What could be another sub-par sporting game turns out to be a fantastic party game with good production values, excellent aiming and controls and straight-forward simple gameplay. This CGR review of Remington Great American Bird Hunt shows gameplay on the Nintendo Wii with straight up game play from Remington Great American Bird Hunt. CGR is playing with the Wii controller in the Buckshot Lock and Load shotgun accessory, a must for this game. You can also use the Wii Zapper or just the Wiimote. CGR digs this game because it oozes fun cheesiness and “Hunter Vision” to slow down time. The challenge in the game is excellent as you play through the tournament mode and slowly increases with difficulty as birds fly in erratic paterns and the sky fills with birds that you can’t shoot. Good times, Remington Great American Bird Hunt is good, old school style bird shooting action reminiscent of the classic Duck Hunt on NES.

Classic Game Room HD reviews CENTIPEDE for Atari 2600, the classic arcade game originally released in 1980! Centipede made its way on to the Atari 2600 in 1982 and is one of the best arcade conversions that you can find on the Atari VCS. While the original arcade machine (and cocktail sit down Centipede machine) had an amazing track ball allowing super precise game play and accuracy, this version of Centipede still handles well and is controlled with the standard Atari joystick or a myriad array of other compatible controllers. CGR uses a Sega Genesis gamepad to play Centipede. Shoot the Centipede bits, blast the spider, get extra lives every 10,000 points and have a great time with this Atari classic. This CGR review of Centipede has gameplay from the Atari 2600 version of Centipede.

Classic Game Room reviews VANGUARD for Atari 5200. Previously CGR reviewed the 2600 version and you’ll note some major visual differences between two versions of this awesome game. Vanguard is one of the earliest space ship shooters, or SHMUPS, which was released in the arcades in 1981. This Atari 5200 release is from 1983 and would be an amazing game if the 5200 controllers did not suck the lift out of the gameplay. Maneuver your space ship through tight spaces, tunnels and fire at enemies in four directions… just don’t try to do any of it with precision thanks to the awful, mushy 5200 controller. Even a refurb controller can’t save the controls in this game. Vanguard was originally published by SNK who is better known for the Neo-Geo and Metal Slug than Vanguard! For a fun, affordable game that kicks ass, check out Vanguard on the Atari 2600, or brave the controls and take on the Atari 5200 version. This CGR review of Vanguard has gameplay from the Atari 5200 version of Vanguard showing old school side and vertical scrolling shooter game play.

Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of GRAND THEFT AUTO VICE CITY for the Playstation 2 video game console! CGR-HD will review GTA soon, we can’t wait for Grand Theft Auto, or any other way you can spell it. But in the meantime Vice City is the best game in the series. You play as Tommy Vercetti in this Scarface meets Miami Vice episode alternate reality full of exploding cars, beautiful women in bikinis and tanks that are easily stolen and driven around city streets. Rockstar Games GTA series has been one of the best gaming series of all times, open ended alternate reality with complete out of control lawlessness. What makes this game even better is the tremendous 80’s pop music soundtrack featuring Flock of Seagulls, Michael Jackson, Gary Numan, The Cult, David Lee Roth, Human League, Disco, Funk, Rap, early hip-hop, latin music… but no Duran Duran!? Vice City is one of the best games ever made for the PS2. The new GTA IV will be coming out for PS3, Xbox 360 and maybe Atari 2600. 3 great game systems to get it on. Will the PS3 and Xbox have downloadable content, extra levels, cities and more features? Who can say…?
Be sure to watch the original Classic Game Room episodes. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. Wii, PS3, Xbox 360. Liberty City Stories. Download levels, new level design. Psp.

Part 1 of 2. Watch in High Definition! Classic Game Room HD reviews GRAND THEFT AUTO CHINATOWN WARS for Nintendo DS! This CGRHD Chinatown Wars review has gameplay footage from China Town Wars for Nintendo DS handheld video game system recorded in HD with a Canon XH-A1 camera showing the graphical presentation of GTA Chinatown Wars in this review reviewing the game reviewed, Chinatown Wars (aka GTA CW). Whew… picking up search engines is exhausting! Bringing the series back OLD SCHOOL, I love it! We all know that GTA III, Vice City, SA and GTAIV are amazing games technically, but I still have fond memories of the original Grand Theft Auto for Playstation 1 and GTA 2 and GTA London, 2D top down hilarious cartoony action games where you bring misery and destruction down on the city from above! GTA CW is like a nice mixture of GTA4 mixed with GTA2. Rockstar Games uses the Nintendo DS split screens to great effect by using the top screen for action and the bottom screen as a map, GPS and control panel for songs, guns and more. GTA Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars has Nintendo Wi-fi support and the usual compliment of machine guns, shotguns and smgs. Visit the Liberty City that you know and love, carjack everything that moves and create mass chaos, earn money, play through the plot or just shoot people to waste time on the bus. This GTA outing on the Nintendo DS is awesome and brings the sillyness back to the series that was missing in GTA4. Fans of the old games will be in heaven, fans of the new games should be equally thrilled to see Liberty City from above, play through a raunchy, violent plot with submissions and drug dealing, and hey.. what more can you ask for? CHINATOWN WARS! Classic Game Room reviews Nintendo DS games like GTA China Town Wars because CGRHD is a Nintendo DS reviewer reviewing games like GTACW. Will Grand Theft Auto come out for Nintendo Wii or Colecovision? One can only hope….
