i am a mechanic, but only know about older muscle cars, and classics, could i make a living off of that type of auto repair. Also vintage bikes as well….
Its possible you could make a living off of that but you will either have to find a shop that specializes in that sort of thing or start your own business.
HI
sure you can… there are a lot of folks that buy classics and don’t know anything about working on them.. I know quite a few guys the work in classic rebuilding. But also there are guys and gals that can and do work on there own classics..
Good luck

yes you can make a good living if you are very good at what you do . there is a lot of classic car shops all over the U.S.A. and some muscle car shops also but you are talking about people that are very fussy so again you must be very good at it, not just a guy that has built is own car and that of a few buddies.

The biggest thing is quality of workmanship. Most people(including myself) are very fussy over who works on thier car. What is considered a good job by some is a roadside repair to others. When I moved away from my engine builder of over 20 years I did alot of asking around to find the right guy to work on my car where I now live. The heck with impressive web sites, word of mouth got me to the right person. He was as fussy & meticulas as I am & even talked with me extensively to make sure we were both on the same page.In order to be successful you’ll have to be the same way-Good Luck!
