The term "classic" is used for cars that are no more classic than my 20 year old toaster setting out a box in the shed. There is an organization (and the actual name of the group escapes me…but one does exist) that has established standards for a car to be a "classic" as opposed to a "collectible". There are no…repeat NO…post WW ll cars that have been designated "classic". Classic cars are cars of the 20’s and 30’s…Duesenbergs, Cadillacs, Hudsons, etc. You get the picture. That means all those lovingly restored 55-57 Chevys while being great cars are NOT classics. And that 25 year old Ford Crown Vic in the driveway is certainly not either. DMV’s set a 20-25 year standard for doling out license plates in a given state but truthfully how many clerks involved actually know what a "classic" is? So next time you read a for sale ad in the newspaper advertising a "classic" 1979 Chevy Monte Carlo….think what the term "classic" really means. Ask yourself…is that REALLY a classic car?

I have a ‘ 69 Camaro and am in the market for insurance. What companies are good? and which ones should I stay away from?
We have Grundy’s World Wide. We found them to be the cheapest and had less restriction. All 4 of our Plymouth Cuda’s are covered through them. Check em out. There is also Hagerty Collector Network.

I believed the mainstream media would just be happy killing our glorious past but was I wrong. They have killed Michael Jackson, destroyed Phil Spector’s career, and are attempting to destroy our classic automobiles by making it "cool" to modify them into shame. Why couldn’t they let the past die an honorable and slow death? Why did they have to destroy it and its legacy? Ignorant youth why do you follow these slaughterers!?!?
They killed MJ and Phil Spector to silence them so they wouldn’t tell people how it used to be. In the days before mainstream rule.
it sounds poretty bad when you say it like that.and how did media destroy Phil spectres career?

After all, they do have all metal bodies and bullet proof engine blocks. Wouldn’t they indeed keep you safe if you are a target? The reason I ask is because I’m a high profile target due to my cunning, my leadership skills, my ruthlessness, and my underground activities.
My main question is this:
Would an older automobile (circa 1940s-1960s) give you more protection than a modern/new one?
probably. those old oldsmobiles last forever they are made with real good metal back in the days. your crzy….lol cunning and leadership skill? cars are better when they are bulletproof or window bulletproof. with a good hard metal old car.
