im thinking about purchasing an antique police car to use in parades and car shows….i would think that if a person has the money to invest in such, its impossible to lose money on the car as long as u keep it in excellent condition
yes, you can loose money you have upkeep a car that old has a tendency to rust, floor boards rust all that has to be fixed you have to buy the car for a lot less than what it is worth to break even when you sell the car

Friday, February 5th, 2010Hi, I’m willing to start a collection of antique cars do I need a permit or special licence plate? from Canada
Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010Should I need to special licence plate? pay fees? Am I allowed to drive them all on road??
I’m from the USA so I’m not sure of the laws in Canada, but here the only restriction would be that they need to be housed inside a building if they don’t run. To drive them, they would need to be licensed and insured. Other than that, I wouldn’t think there would be any special permits to have a collection of antique vehicles. Good luck!
A tour of Phil Maloof’s Antique Classic Car Collection 1999
Monday, February 1st, 2010
My brother and I plus several classic car enthusiasts were invited to have a rare seldom seen glimpse of Uncle Phil Maloof’s car collection on Edith Blvd in Albuquerque NM. He has a minimum of several hundred cars in several large climate controlled buildingd and all of his cars are in running order. This is the second time I have seen the collection, once in 1987 and then in 1999. It was a nice pleasant sunday afternoon and we drove my brothers beautiful restored 1938 Buick coupe to and fro. This is a couple of years before Phil Maloof moved and transported all of his cars to Las Vegas NV.

Is there an automobile appraisal website for antique cars available?
Friday, January 29th, 2010
Ronald,
Here are two appraisal services I like:
http://www.cars-on-line.com/insp-1stpg.html
http://www.autoappraisal.com/
If your question really means is there a website that will do an antique car appraisal totally online, the answer is yes but I don’t recommended it. The value these companies provide isn’t acceptable for insurance claims or trying to get insurance or for bank loans.
Get some collector car price guides and estimate the price for yourself. The Hemmings guide is at your local Borders or can be ordered from Amazon. Here are a couple websites to check prices on:
http://www.manheimgold.com/
http://www.nadaguides.com/SectionHome.aspx?l=1&w=22&p=0&f=5003
Best of luck to you!

Hi:
First of all, make sure of what you actually have and then go to Ebay if you have time.
Good luck and good selling.

Mountain Home, AR. T-Bucket and Antique Car Show – August 29, 2009
Saturday, January 23rd, 2010I am looking for a web site that sells paterns for silhouettes of antique cars.?
Friday, January 22nd, 2010I’d like them to be about the size of a sheet of plywood 4×8 ft.
I suggest you search for antique cars, click images. When you find the image you want, download it and then use the grid method to enlarge to the size you need.
what is the best website to buy antique project cars?
Tuesday, January 19th, 2010i have looked at cars.com but all of the cars i found were restored. just wondering if theres a auto selling website specially for old cars?
When I sold my 1969 Mach 1, I sold it at the following website. They have many collectible cars at many prices. I had 11 emails on the first day alone. Good luck and you’ll love that Mustang!
